Career advice

Transitioning from study into employment can often be overwhelming. South Metropolitan TAFE provides a free service to ensure current and prospective students receive the best opportunities for success in the workplace and in their future careers. Our career development advisors can help students identify the possibilities that are available to them during or upon completion of their training.

Our skilled staff can assist with career planning, career pathways and course selection and will provide advice on: university pathways, retraining, application and selection processes, Recognition of Prior Learning, apprenticeships and traineeships, industry skills shortage needs and changing or withdrawing from a course.

Face-to-face appointments and telephone consultations are available with our career development advisors.
