AIM
To provide candidates with the skills and knowledge required to respond effectively as a member of an onboard fire fighting team.
This course includes practical use of fire fighting and fire detection equipment. Four (4) months after successful completion of Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, candidates are eligible to enroll into the Advanced Fire Fighting.
This course meets the requirements of STCW95 and is AMSA approved.

- Your position will not be confirmed until payment has been received
- Course positions are limited. Practical component conducted at IFAP. 100% attendance is required.
- Minimum dress standards apply to campus and IFAP attendance: ie closed in shoes be worn ( no sandals, thongs or bare feet), neat casual attire.
- It is advisable that men be clean-shaven for the practical components
conducted at IFAP. Facial hair can affect the sealing capability of the face
mask.
