AIM
To provide for licensing to carry out fault diagnosis
and repairs and servicing of domestic and type-A commercial gas appliances.
TARGET AUDIENCE
In order to be eligible for this course,
candidates must hold an A-Class Gas Fitting Licence (restricted) as issued by Energy
Safety.
CONTENT
On completion, candidates will be allowed to service
both natural and LPG Gas pipework to 200 Kpa and Type A appliances to 500 Mj per
hour. Candidates will be registered with “Energy Safety” WA as an G Class Licence
holder.
OUTCOMES
Successful completion of this course entitles you
to an A class permit with no restrictions.
ASSESSMENT
Practical assessment and theory test.
