This is a Water Corporation of WA accredited program for operatives in the Civil and Construction areas working in land development projects where PVC pipelaying is required.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Drainage contractors, Water Corporation personnel, private business owners, agricultural businesses. Applicants must be over 18 years of age.
CONTENT
The accredited program provides essential knowledge andpractical skills for PVC pipelayers. Includes updated theory from the Office of Water Regulation to address new requirements.
OUTCOMES
This course has been designed to train operatives in the handling and installation of PVC pipe to the standards required by the Water Corporation.
ASSESSMENT
Practical assessment and theory test.
FURTHER TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
Currently there are no higher-level short courses in this area to progress towards.
