This course is designed to provide overseas or non qualified plumbers with the practical skills and knowledge to work within Australia to the Australian Standards.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Participants need to possess a Temporary Trades Persons Licence as issued by the Plumbing Licence Board and/or complete a Hand Skills Assessment as a pre-requisite for entry to the course.
CONTENT
To achieve W600 Certificate III in Plumbing CPC32408, 68 units of competency need to be achieved. This comprises of :
- 23 Water stream core units
- 6 Water stream elective units
- 6 Sanitary stream core units
- 4 Sanitary stream elective units
- 9 Drainage stream core units
- 3 Drainage stream elective units
- 12 Gas Services stream core units
- 5 Gas Services stream elective units
- 2 WA Plumbing Licensing Board regulatory units.
Units of competency achieved in one stream, can count as credit for the same unit in the compulsory or elective requirements for any other stream.
