The Community Services Training Centre offers full-time Certificates III and IV in Aged Care work. Graduates of these Challenger Institute programs are highly sought after as they have acquired a wide range of industry-based skills in providing care and support to aged clients.
All students spend a significant amount of time in residential aged-care settings, where they learn how to put their skills into practice and are assessed to ensure they are competent and work-ready. Graduates readily find jobs in the local aged care industry.
In addition, a Nursing Career Combo program is offered in conjunction with Murdoch University that leads into a Nursing Career. Students gain an Aged Care qualification in their first year, enabling them to work in the aged care industry while completing their nursing degree.
We also offer Recognition of Prior Learning/Skills Recognition for those who have extensive experience working in the industry.
