As winter hits Perth Student Services will be showing a feature documentary MORE 4 ME. In the face of the global financial crisis, this feature documentary - MORE 4 ME follows the Need v's the Greed journey across five continents.

Student Services will be presenting the award winning StartSmart Financial Literacy for Vocational Students Program in conjunction with the Commonwealth Bank Foundation during May. This free lunch time program series aims to improve the financial literacy of students and assist them in making smart and confident decisions about money.
The sessions will run on a MONDAY at Fremantle (Beaconsfield) Campus and on a FRIDAY at Murdoch Campus with a choice of two time slots of approx. 45 minutes each.
The topics of the workshop will change each week and include:

Together we will celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. You are invited to participate in NAIDOC activities at Challenger as we celebrate together.
Come along and enjoy guest speakers, contemporary bush tucker and entertainment. The 2012 National NAIDOC theme has not yet been announced.

Through this interaction and exchange of ideas we endeavour to maintain our harmonious community and create a society built on understanding, acceptance and mutual respect. All students are encouraged to participate in the day's events.

Enjoy the great outdoors with "Outdoor Day". A host of activities will be on offer including information from community providers, guide dogs, a science project, reptiles, sustainability project, giveaways and a great Aussie BBQ.

Celebrating World Mental Health Week - In 2012 we will once again partner with ABC (Act, Belong, Commit) as we bring you our Healthy Mind and Body Days which aims to raise awareness of the importance of mental health in the community.
Join us as Brain Ambulance promote their upcoming Mental Health Workshops and Motivate Me give you the opportunity to take part in the 100 Day Challenge!

Following the success of the 2011 Games & Sports Day, the format of the day will be very similar in 2012 and will include the TFA (Total Football Academy) inflatable soccer field, climbing wall, chair massages, tug-o-war, longest kick, penalty shoot out, healthy lunch and much more!
So join us on the Bruce Lee Reserve from 11.30am - 1.00pm for this free event as we partner with the Dept of Sport and Rec - "Play by the Rules" making sport inclusive, safe and fair. A day for students of all abilities to join in and enjoy.

In celebration of Diwali - Indian Festival of Light - a lunchtime event will be held at Maritime Campus in November.
We will celebrate with an Indian curry lunch, entertainment and henna.
