Web Accessibility Statement
This is the official accessibility statement for Challenger Institute's website, which is maintained by the Client Communications Office at Challenger Institute of Technology. Challenger Institute of Technology is committed to making undergraduate admissions web information and resources accessible to all users. Should you have difficulty accessing information on any of our pages, please contact us giving the urls of the pages concerned and outlining your requirements and we will endeavour to supply the information to you in another form.
All pages on this site complies with all priority 1 and 2 guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
Cascading Stylesheets (CSS)
This site uses cascading style sheets for layout and presentation. You can test this by using the W3C CSS validation service. Check the stylesheet used on the homepage.
This site uses relative font sizes to enable users to resize text using the "text size" option in visual browsers.
If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable and presented in a logical order.
Links embedded in the main content have been styled using colour and emphasis to appear distinct from the rest of the content, even to colourblind users.
Care has been taken to ensure that links are described logically rather than 'click here' to make sense out of context.
This site uses a different colour/hue to display links that have already been visited to help the user know where they have been.
Text Size Increase/Decrease
Users can modify the size of the text through the "A" icons located below the header search input box on each page.
3rd Party Applications
This site presents information in PDF format throughout. To read this information, you will need a free PDF Reader. Adobe Reader X is a free PDF reader that can be downloaded and installed prior to opening PDF information.
