THE PROCESS AFTER YOU’VE APPLIED
- If you are shortlisted by the Panel for interview you can expect to be contacted up to 2 weeks after the position’s closing date.
- You will generally be asked to attend an interview in person, although in certain situations you may instead be asked to a phone interview or teleconference.
- After the interview, the Panel will generally finalise their decision within 1 to 2 weeks regarding the recommended applicant.
- The recommended applicant will generally be advised of the decision by the Panel Convener by phone, with written confirmation of the recommendation following within a week.
- Once written notification is received there is a ‘review’ period of about 1 week that enables unsuccessful applicants to ask for a review of the process if they feel they have been treated unfairly.
- At the conclusion of the review period, the Manager will contact the successful applicant to confirm a commencement date.
- Once a commencement date has been finalised, the successful applicant will be sent a contract of employment to sign.
Good luck!
